23 July 2011: Unusual Saturday with no Youth Ablaze

On Saturday, 23 July, there was a churchwide equipping session conducted by Pst Dr Chew Weng Chee on "Passion and Calling of Leadership". It lasted from 2-6pm in the L2 Auditorium. As a result, Youth Ablaze was cancelled and the youths were encouraged to come attend this equipping instead.

With no Youth Ablaze, and the equipping session ending early at around 5plus, it felt so weird being able to walk slowly to a place for dinner, and reach the place early. We actually finished dinner at about 8pm when we are usually only halfway through our dinner at that time on Saturdays with Youth Ablaze.

Anyway, together with uncle KK, Shu-En, Joanne and Eliz, the 5 of us slowly walked to a nearby Thai restaurant called "Charcoal Thai".
Shu-En and Joanne with the menu of Charcoal Thai, enjoying the 'keropok' appetizer.
Uncle KK with the tom yum soup!
All in all, the food wasn't bad! And not too expensive either. You can either go there and order many small dishes, or you can choose to have a hot pot or BBQ thingy. If you stay in the Kovan area, you can go check it out!
