The Send-offs
8 July, Friday: Sending Eugene off
At 10pm, I drove over to Eugene's house to pick him up and his family to go to the airport. He was leaving for Mauritius to study one semester there to complete his degree, and will be there until November this year.
Left photo: Eugene and his family at home. Right photo: Eugene and myself at his house.

I drove Eugene and his family to the airport, Terminal 1, and we arrived there at 11-ish pm.

Brethren-style, Eugene took one photo with all the girls, then a photo with all the boys:

Left photo: We took another photo together. Right photo: I asked for a shot of our watches - I rushed down to The Bencoolen to buy Eugene a watch that afternoon, and was actually thinking of getting couple watches. But I didn't find any nice couple sets, so I ended up buying 2 watches of identical design for men, but in different colours - Eugene's got the black one, while I got the white with rose gold one - I hope he wears it all the time when he's over there!

10 July, Sunday: Sending James off
James' flight was also at T1, but at 9:35pm. James has left for Brisbane, Australia. He is going there to study a 3-year degree. The next time he will be back in Singapore is probably November or December this year.

Left photo: Shu-En, with the help of Elizabeth and Joanne, made this really nice card that had many many pages for many many people to write their farewell messages to James. Right photo: Shu-En & James.

While James was entertaining his other friends, Shu-En decided to remind James that she "hearts J" - as seen from the shapes made out by Shu-En, Larissa and Elizabeth.

After James went in to board his plane, we went to Wang Cafe for a late dinner. Here's Kah Wan with all the yummy butter-kaya and butter-sugar toast:
