I started the morning at work. Then I met Eugene at Vivo City. We couldn't decide what to eat for lunch so we just checked out Poulet first. But there was a really long queue. Opposite, there was Jamie's Italian. No queue. Although we were only given bar seats. We gave it a shot anyway. The bar seats were high and uncomfortable. The service was cordial, therefore not good enough for me. I asked about the serving size and the waiter was most unhelpful in his matter-of-fact answer, I.e. "the usual appetizer size". It was most off-putting. Eugene ordered the Fennel & Orange salad (against my personal wishes) and we regretted it the moment this $9.50 dish was placed before us. As for the pasta each of us ordered, as well as the baked mushrooms, it was so-so. Not worth the price, in our humble opinion. Anyway after the barely-there-satisfying lunch, we dropped by The Pet Safari to look at dogs on sale. I wanted to see if there were any bulldog puppies:D But th...

The last 2 weeks of 2013 have been good. FULL of eating, and there definitely must be some mention of the Christmas presents I got... So in a haphazard and random manner I'm just going to talk based on whatever photos I've uploaded in this entry... Eugene as I/C of Christmas Drama Production Eugene was in charge of the Christmas drama production this year. Elizabeth was the adviser. I tried to carry out the role of the girlfriend as best as I could without being too big of a busybody. One highlight of this whole experience was the prata supper I had with Eugene and Elizabeth after one of the Christmas productions. I say it is a highlight to me because I have been craving for a prata supper for the longest time now! Also, because Eugene was SO busy with the drama production, I ended up preparing most of our Christmas presents, e.g. his presents to his cell group members... Every year, I always get this strange feeling that's somewhat like realisation but not quite, when the New Testament passage for the day in the One Year Bible is Revelations chapter 1. We are really and truly into the end of 2013. 2014 is fast approaching!!!

The whole of yesterday and this morning, General ran about the house without his cone because we saw that he wasn't itchy or wanting to bite/lick his paws or backside. We didn't do anything different or stop doing anything to cause this difference. I'm thus wondering if this is God answering my regular prayers over him on his skin condition! You see, every time I think about General, I will say a prayer for him about his skin condition and how it is so bad for him to be on long-term steroids. Also, when I do get to pet him or stroke his back, as I run my hands down his back, I will ask God to heal General of his skin condition because it is just too sad for a dog to be in a cone all the time for most of his life. GOD, PLEASE HEAL GENERAL! Let him live longer as a happy active dog without dependence on steroids because he adds a lot of life and activity to an otherwise quiet and big house:)
