Barry Manilow!

I had the most pleasant breakfast today because I stumbled upon Oprah, which was showing on Star World (Channel 18), and her guest star of that episode was Barry Manilow! Oh my gosh I was really excited! I mean, Barry Manilow is one of the newest additions to a list I have because of his charming, melodious and steady voice. On the show, he performed songs requested by the female-dominated audience on the piano. It was wonderful to see how well he played and sang at the same time! When he sang "I write the songs", I felt like I was there myself! :) After that, he was very sporting in springing surprises on people (all women) who claim to be his biggest fans. One of them was a pair of sisters-in-law who both loved him very much. They were told that they would get a free makeover courtesy of Oprah before going for her show. It was at the salon that Barry Manilow surprised them. He was really nice about it when he said, "You look beautiful" when in actual fact their h...

I think there is a need to post some photos that are really outdated already but should STILL be posted up... Sorry for the delay! Happy looking! :) This is a photo of the sec 2 cell I'm leading with Andy and Amy. It's bigger than this but this was the turnout we got at our Sec 2 Vday lunch on 11th Feb. The group photo we took at the end of our Vday lunch on 11th Feb.All in all there are 3 Sec 2 cells. There are 2 Sec 2 cells represented here at MacRitchie. This photo is not really considered outdated... ;) Oh, and Andy is missing from this photo because he was the photographer. Yes ok! Here are the 3 most important photos I must post, for now! :)

Term 1 Week 10: Highlights

I just realized that I haven't blogged for TWO whole weeks now! So I better add in an entry or two today, since it's the first day of the March holidays, which should be NOTHING like a holiday since Block Test 1 is exactly one week away. Oh man. Wednesday The Saints Sports Club (SSC) exco got a scolding after our PT session and it felt really weird for me. I was trying so hard to concentrate on feeling repentant because I really deserved a lecture/scolding for not being enthu enough about SSC, but at the same time I was busy feeling WEIRD. It truly was weird because of the person who was actually scolding us. I kept thinking of scenarios that may take place in the future in which I would have to face the teacher... But I must say that everyone in the exco is making extra effort now. Thursday -Junior-meet-senior session was better than expected. When everybody first heard we were getting a "scholar OG", everybody groaned. However the juniors were all right and we had f...
