Playing catch-up 3: Whee!! It's WII!

Image
Last Friday, I had a fun time of playing wii with Joanne, Kah Wan and Shu-En. It was a day of unhealthy eating too because for lunch, we ordered pizza from Pizza Hut and we also drank bubble tea! For lunch, we tried the Goal Splitzza, and the shape is so cute! Both pizzas looked a little small at first, but it was more than enough for all four of us. It was nice having pizza!:) I think it is slowly becoming something like a tradition for me and Joanne to meet up and play wii. We always alternate between Rock Band and Raving Rabbids 2, and we'll play for the ENTIRE day. So, like last Friday, we started playing wii from about 11+ in the morning, stopped for lunch, then carried on playing all the way until 6:30pm. At the end of each session, I always think that Joanne is just so good at wii. She is the queen of wii! haha

Playing catch-up 2: Church Camp

Image
I was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 15 to 19 June. I went up a day earlier with my parents, Amy, the church camp committee and a few other church members who wanted to spend an extra night in KL. 15 June, Tuesday By the time we arrived at The Legend Hotel, it was about 3+ in the afternoon. So we checked into our rooms, then Amy and I went to meet my parents. We took a train to Berjaya Times Square, a big shopping mall. At Berjaya Times Square, we watched the movie, "Prince of Persia", which was good! Then we walked over to a Chinese restaurant called Oversea Chinese Restaurant. My dad was treating the camp committee to dinner to honour them for organising the camp. Amy and I were the "extras" as they did not count us in in the original booking. We were waiting for the rest to arrive so while waiting, Amy and I sat on two chairs in the corner of the room and pretended to be sad because there wasn't space at the table for us, since we were the extras:) For the pi...

Playing catch-up 1: Julie and Bella!

I've just been too lazy to bring myself to blog about the more relevant things I have been doing so far... But, the important thing is that I'm blogging NOW, isn't it!:) Oh and one other thing, before I forget, and just for the sake of writing it down somewhere to be noted/remembered: I played the keyboard in church today! I'm actually rostered to play only in August. But on Thursday, the keyboardist originally on duty asked if I could replace her, and I said yes. My goodness, I am so "rusty". You should have heard all the mistakes I made, especially during the second service! And I was really nervous actually! Oh well, THANK GOD it is over! I look forward to settling back in and playing more. Anyway, basically, I've been running every morning on week days, and for the rest of the day I'm usually at home watching drama serials. I have been going out of the house occasionally, and meeting up with friends, spending time with family... But I don't hav...

'Slacking' all day long!

Image
Above is a screen capture of my countdown widgets - I've been back in Singapore for a week now. And I've 32 days until my graduation ceremony on 14 July. Gosh, can't believe I'm done with my undergraduate degree! This may seem really random and unrelated, but, I DON'T WANT TO GROW UP! So, the important question: What have I been doing the past week that I've been back? One simple word: Slacking. I've been running for half an hour every morning on the treadmill, re-watching Japanese drama serial "Mr Brain" at the same time. I think watching an episode a day of "Mr Brain" is my motivation for running every morning! So, I will run every morning from Monday to Friday, and give myself a break on Saturdays and Sundays. Although next week, I'll be in KL for church camp, so I don't think I can keep up this regime of running for half an hour every morning on weekdays:( Another drama serial I've been re-watching is Korean drama serial ...
