Interesting MV storyline

Recently, Korean boyband 2AM released their newest album, 'Saint o'clock'. One of their promotional songs for this album is called 'You Wouldn't Answer My Calls', and I think it's nice! I'm quite impressed with the music video of this song, which you can view here: It doesn't have English subtitles so I have absolutely no idea what the lyrics mean or what the MV characters are saying. But, basically, the girl got murdered on the 25th. But the MV is about the guy dealing with her death on the 26th. And there's this 'time portal' thingy in the phone where the girl actually called him from the past. He tries to stop her from opening the door to the murderer to prevent her death by calling back to the 25th, but he couldn't change anything. As an aside, I'd like to draw your attention to the 3rd guy who sings in the MV. His name is Jo Kwon. He is the leader of 2AM and I have been watching him in the reality show 'We Got Married...

Discovery of the day: Live Pets on eBay!

Image
I was slacking a little from all the studying I should be doing, and I was clicking around on eBay.com.sg when I made the discovery that you could sell live pets on eBay! And I saw the listing of this immensely, ADORABLY cute dog: Sigh, so cute:(

Taylor Swift songs

Image
I have been listening to Taylor Swift's newest album, 'Speak Now'. I feel a bit embarrassed to say this, but, erm, I'm liking her album. The tunes are catchy, and the lyrics are interesting. I've picked out 4 songs that I like, just for you to listen. (Press the play button NOW!;)) Song list: 1. (with video) Mine 2. Speak Now 3. Mean 4. Back to December (Acoustic) I really like songs #2 and #4 - #2 for its cute lyrics; #4 for lyrics and music. As for #1, the lyrics tell a very sweet love story. And finally for #3, I find 2:46-3:00 very amusing in the way she sings the lines, 'All you are is mean, and a liar, and pathetic, and alone in life and mean...':)

The Original vs Sesame Street

Last night, Gordon sent me this link of an advertisement, which was really amusing: Then, he just sent me the link to the Sesame Street spoof of the same advertisement - I found it sooooo cute and funny!

100 days since graduation

Image
I saw this on my Mac Dashboard today, and decided I should post the photos taken at my graduation, because it has already been 100 days! I was blessed enough to have my whole family fly over to the UK to attend my graduation ceremony. I was expecting the ceremony to be long, draggy and boring, especially since my sister said that graduation ceremonies are usually like that. Thus, when my ceremony was really fast-moving, interesting and not long at all, I was pleasantly surprised. And I really enjoyed myself. I didn't really like wearing the graduation gown though. It kept slipping off and it was just very uncomfortable and cumbersome. The mortarboard also felt as if it would drop off any time soon. I thank God for wonderful, sunny weather though! He held back the rain for the entire day. It had been raining the day before, and it started raining only at dinner time, after the whole graduation ceremony was over - so I'm very thankful for the wonderful weather! Ok, photos! Family...

LSBC Staff Family Night - 17 October 2010

Image
Last night, I attended the first ever LSBC Staff Family Night with my parents, my sister and Edmund. It was quite a big event considering that there were about 100 people there. It was a simple buffet dinner at Quality Hotel, with very fun table games and "blessing draw" (a.k.a. lucky dip). Here are some random photos I took with my camera last night. Left: photo with my cell leader, Zin Ee! Chris and Zin Ee aren't church staff but Chris was the photographer for the night and Zin Ee was there to help hold the flash:) Right: There was this "Orient of the Night" segment where 3 guys and 3 girls all dressed up according to the oriental theme were called on stage to do 3 poses. Edmund was in the running for "Male Orient of the Night". He did this really funny pose when it was his turn but I didn't catch it in time, so it came out blur. Left: The best sister & brother-in-law ever!:D Right: Unfortunately, this photo of my sister and I is blur. But th...

Leroy & Pamela's wedding on 9 Oct 2010

Image
On Saturday, I had a great time attending the wedding ceremony and dinner of Leroy and Pamela. I know Leroy from Tung Ling Bible College (TLBC). He was my classmate during our TLBC course from January to March 2007. Jolene, Joanne and I arrived rather early and while waiting, I tried taking a self-shot of us three, but it turned out... not so nice. I'm putting it up anyway: I attended TLBC with Jolene and Joanne. And Joanne was my buddy in TLBC! Just to explain a little, each person is encouraged to find a 'buddy' during our time in TLBC. As buddies, we are accountable to each other during the course. I became buddies with Joanne, because we were always taking the bus to and from school that we had alot of time to talk and spend time with one another. I got to know her so much better that, 3 years after we have graduated from TLBC, I still see her very much as a 'buddy' that I can be held accountable to. I thank God for her!:) Anyway, the wedding ceremony started pr...
