Don't understand why people call it a mediocre adaptation... It's following very closely to the manga... I am enjoying it somewhat... And I'm really liking 2018 Dao Ming Si! We're 32 episodes into the airing of Meteor Garden 2018. I am not completely up to date but I have been following closely on Instagram and watched random clips of it. I previously uploaded a clip from Episode 23. This is another happy/cute one from Episode 25: This song is my current ear worm from the show: The singer's voice has a really nice quality to it! And I like how they use a male backup vocal to add layers or emphasis to various lines that she sings. The blending is really nice.

I have been watching Meteor Garden 2018. My very first "China" drama serial. AND I AM LOVING IT. The chemistry between the 2 leads is soooooooooooooooo good. Only wish they did not dub over all the voices... Their opening song is very happy too, sung by this China F4: The new arrangement of my favourite Penny Tai song is nicely done too!

Just watched episode 1 of this Japanese drama serial - really love Satomi Ishihara! The lead actor is NOT handsome AT ALL. But I will still watch this drama BECAUSE of the lead actress! Her character in this show is sooo interesting as well. Can't wait to see how the story develops. I'm gonna be excitedly waiting for each new episode every Thursday. A Japanese drama serial I'm presently watching is Hana Nochi Hare Handan. It's somewhat a spin-off from the F4 series. It is set in the same school, but it's 10 years after F4 and now the school is 'ruled' by C5, which stands for "Correct 5". This is one drama serial that is really getting to me... strangely... Yesterday, its latest episode 10 made me feel so frustrated with the lead actress and so ridiculously sad for the supporting actor, I couldn't sleep. I had to confide in my husband about it and we had a good laugh about how affected I am by it... You see, too often, I like the supporting actor more than the lead actor in a romance drama. I usually just admit defeat and get over it super quickly. I know it is all fictional and at the end of the day, love conquers all and the lead actor and lead actress are totally made for each other. First heard this song on Spotify when they suggested this song from Korean drama serial Uncontrollably Fond's OST. It's really nice! Love the lyrics and music arrangement.
