I first heard this song "Gonna Get Over You" by Sara Bareilles some months ago. And, honestly? I really like the lyrics! I remember thinking that I can really identify with the lyrics when I first heard it. Also, hear the piano parts! I love Sara Bareilles:) Anyway, have a listen to this song by clicking here to see the video - IT'S A SUPER CUTE VIDEO. Watch the entire thing, right to the end ok? After watching the fabulous Sara Bareilles, look at this music video of "Be My Baby" by Wonder Girls (Korean girl group). It just REALLY reminded me of the Sara Bareilles' song! It's like, similar, and yet, then again, maybe not that similar after all?:)

I love Jason Mraz for his great voice and guitar-playing. He's one fantastic live singer! Not that I've actually watched him perform live and in the flesh, but I've seen youtube and other videos, and his range of voice and the magic he produces with the guitar really amazes me. His new song, on first blush, doesn't really feel or sound like the "usual" Jason Mraz-kind of song, but the lyrics are so poignant and the acoustic feel of the whole song is just REALLY nice. I can't embed here, but please click here to go listen to it! Honestly, for me, I try not to dwell too much on the lyrics because it just gets me all emo!:D I mostly just listen to the arrangement of the music and melodies, and marvel at the range of his voice!

After Youth Ablaze service, based on the initiative of Shiang Lin and team, the 17 year olds organised a little appreciation session for us leaders. There are 3 cell groups in the zone, and each cell went up to say a short thank you speech to each of their leaders, which was really sweet of them! Left photo: My 'kids':D I will miss them this year when I join the Sec 2 zone. Right photo: The 17 year old zone Then we finally went over to my house and started setting up for our steamboat dinner and eventual countdown to 2012. Once again, James was one of the "main cooks": All the hungry people eating (in this photo we're missing Larissa, Zhulong and Weiping who joined us later): With the radio playing in the background, and I think with the influence of some alcohol, there was some dancing at the table: At one point of the eating, a few of them walked out to get some "fresh air", mainly to get away from the heat of the steamboat. From where we were...
