Trip home with Tina Mama

Today, I went home from school with Tina and we made sure we slept earlier on the train.

Last Thursday, we told ourselves we would sleep right from the start of our train ride, which is at Harbourfront MRT. But we talked and laughed about all kinds of stuff, and ended up only sleeping at Potong Pasir station. Today, again, we said we would nap right from the start of our train ride... guess what? We only slept just as the train was pulling out of Clarke Quay Station. A slight improvement I supposed. Although I have this sneaky suspicion that Tina was smsing even after Clarke Quay Station.

So we didn't get to accomplish our "napping business". But we got to spend time with Barry Manilow! Ok, so maybe not with the actual person. But his songs count as well. Which reminds me, I should blog about the 2 songs that "belong" to me, Jien and Tina, let's leave this for later though.

Meanwhile, we also decided that we would always buy something to munch on as we walked home from the MRT station nearest our house. Last Thursday, it was french fries from McDonald's. Today, it was Curry Puff from Old Chang Kee! Just as we were collecting our food, a man ordered 7 curry puffs, which reminded me of the time I bought 21 fishballs for my brother as a birthday present. We were wondering if the man was buying it for his 7-year-old child or something... ;)

So I've been watching tv ever since I got home. "Chase" finished not long ago on Channel 5. In the show, Ellie was hugging this S-DUPER cute doggy soft toy! It was orange and I thought I saw the words "dog" on it's backside. Oh gosh if I see it on the streets I'm definitely gonna get it! If only I could have a picture! Nevermind! When I find out, I'll post it up!
