What a wonderful date! So catchy! So interesting! Yet, nothing of particular importance happened in MY day. Basically, I just felt that I had to post something to commemorate such a catchy date.

Today, my last lesson only ended at 4.45pm. It was a long but "ok" day for me. I rushed down to Bukit Timah for Math tuition after school. It wasn't a very productive session but I got to meet up with Old MGS mates! Oh my gosh! I was soooo happy to see such a big group of them! Usually I go for math tuition on Tuesdays or Wednesdays when all of the ACJC people attend the Thursday session. However this week, things kept cropping up in school on the days I was scheduled to go for tuition, so I had to go for tuition today. What JOY!

Talking about my Math tutor, of late she has been shopping alot at 7-eleven, the store and more. ;) With every $5 you spend, you'll receive one free Hello Kitty magnet. There are 31 designs, 1 for each year that 7-eleven has been opened (Hope I'm correct on this). My tutor has taken a fancy to them and has enlisted the help of all her students. For every magnet we get for her, she'll give us something like $1 in return? Or is it $2? If my tutor ever reads this, please forgive me if I ever do you injustice. Weelll, I just got one magnet for her just now! Hope she hasn't got this design yet. One day I shall take a photo of all the magnets she has collected and post it up here.

So if you ever have a shopping spree at 7-eleven such that you get at least one Hello Kitty magnet, pass it to me! :)

Random #1: SUMMER HAS COME EARLY! The weather these few days have been AWESOME. After Monday lectures, Po Yew, Janice and I made a quick trip to the Millenium Gardens just next to Law School to take photos. The sky is so blue, the sun is so bright, the grass is so green, the flowers are in full bloom... Forget about jackets. In Po Yew's words, which he said very happily, "The girls are wearing nothing!" Magical Christmas 2009 has come 11 months early

It has been snowing most of today, and everything is covered in snow - a beautiful, magical, pretty sight! It really is unbelievable how much snow there now is in Nottingham. Because it's Nottingham! It never snows in Nottingham, at least not for many many years past! Even in London, I heard that it's snowing so much that Heathrow airport was closed, train and tube services were stopped, SCHOOL LESSONS WERE CANCELLED! Why can't we have classes cancelled over here?! When I first woke up, I knew it would snow at certain points of today (but I didn't expect THIS much snow!). Like some Airline video

I just watched the 3+ minutes of the "final chapter" of Little Nyonya, the Channel 8 drama serial that ended last week. [Spoiler alert] I think it is so unnecessary? Anyhow, from the time of 2:59 onwards, I felt like I was watching some kind of Airline video, the one where they would show before the airplane takes off, briefing all passengers on what to do in cases of emergencies and stuff like that? Seeing Chen Xi stand behind Yueniang like that reminds me of when the air stewards and stewardesses on the video would end the video saying, "Thank you for your attention. Have a pleasant flight." Don't you think so? On the topic of Little Nyonya, I read an article from Mediacorp TV about this "Final Chapter" and I really wonder why people are making so much noise over a drama serial such that Mediacorp people have to step out to make further explanation!
