12 December 2015, Saturday, we wanted to wake up early to head to Chatuchak Market for breakfast. But everybody just lay in bed until it was really late and we only left the apartment at about 10ish 11! haha

We headed to Chatuchak Market and randomly decided to eat at Lamoon Cafe. The omelette atop my rice was wonderfully fluffy!

We spent the entire afternoon shopping at Chatuchak Market! About midway through the afternoon, we randomly (I think everything about Chatuchak Market is random) walked past a foot-shoulder massage place. We ducked in for a 30-minute foot massage, which was a really good break.

I think we left Chatuchak Market close to 6pm. We took a cab back to the apartment to drop off all our stuff, use the bathroom, then we left to go to the real train night market, Talad Rot Fai Seacon. We had yummy lobster noodles, found the new spot of the yummy wanton noodles, and enjoyed lots of walking the stalls and shopping!

We reached back "home" past midnight, if I'm not wrong. We washed up then the major packing began. We only went to bed at 2.30am! It was a really fun and fulfilling day though, due to all the shopping and eating that we did.

Random #1: SUMMER HAS COME EARLY! The weather these few days have been AWESOME. After Monday lectures, Po Yew, Janice and I made a quick trip to the Millenium Gardens just next to Law School to take photos. The sky is so blue, the sun is so bright, the grass is so green, the flowers are in full bloom... Forget about jackets. In Po Yew's words, which he said very happily, "The girls are wearing nothing!" Magical Christmas 2009 has come 11 months early

It has been snowing most of today, and everything is covered in snow - a beautiful, magical, pretty sight! It really is unbelievable how much snow there now is in Nottingham. Because it's Nottingham! It never snows in Nottingham, at least not for many many years past! Even in London, I heard that it's snowing so much that Heathrow airport was closed, train and tube services were stopped, SCHOOL LESSONS WERE CANCELLED! Why can't we have classes cancelled over here?! When I first woke up, I knew it would snow at certain points of today (but I didn't expect THIS much snow!). Like some Airline video

I just watched the 3+ minutes of the "final chapter" of Little Nyonya, the Channel 8 drama serial that ended last week. [Spoiler alert] I think it is so unnecessary? Anyhow, from the time of 2:59 onwards, I felt like I was watching some kind of Airline video, the one where they would show before the airplane takes off, briefing all passengers on what to do in cases of emergencies and stuff like that? Seeing Chen Xi stand behind Yueniang like that reminds me of when the air stewards and stewardesses on the video would end the video saying, "Thank you for your attention. Have a pleasant flight." Don't you think so? On the topic of Little Nyonya, I read an article from Mediacorp TV about this "Final Chapter" and I really wonder why people are making so much noise over a drama serial such that Mediacorp people have to step out to make further explanation!
