Day 2, 1 April, Friday Whether it was due to jet lag or (and) the powerful heaters in the rooms, corridor and living room, everybody was up by 6 am. All of us had a leisurely breakfast of random things bought the day before. John Gell came by on his way to work and sat with us for 20-30 minutes before he left for work and Eugene and I headed over to Victoria Centre to get a SIM card for me from EE. We then checked out of our apartment and started our drive up to Manchester. We drove through the Peak District and it was really windy and cold! We stopped at one point to admire the scenery and take some shots like this one: Hungry and needing the toilet, we stopped at the Snake Pass Inn, which was randomly on the way. The hot soup, beef pie and really fat chips was immensely satisfying!  We finally reached Manchester and joined up with Denise at Ibis Salford Quays hotel. 12 December 2015, Saturday , we wanted to wake up early to head to Chatuchak Market for breakfast. But everybody just lay in bed until it was really late and we only left the apartment at about 10ish 11! haha We headed to Chatuchak Market and randomly decided to eat at Lamoon Cafe. The omelette atop my rice was wonderfully fluffy! We spent the entire afternoon shopping at Chatuchak Market! About midway through the afternoon, we randomly (I think everything about Chatuchak Market is random) walked past a foot-shoulder massage place. We ducked in for a 30-minute foot massage, which was a really good break. I think we left Chatuchak Market close to 6pm. We took a cab back to the apartment to drop off all our stuff, use the bathroom, then we left to go to the real  train night market, Talad Rot Fai Seacon. We had yummy lobster noodles, found the new spot of the yummy wanton noodles, and enjoyed lots of walking the stalls and shopping! We reached back "home"...

Friday, 11 December 2015 , as with all our other mornings in Bangkok, it was a really slow start. We eventually left the apartment and headed to some doggy cafe. I was under the impression that Denise was the one who requested to go to this cafe because it is known to have many huskies and Denise loves dogs. Of course, I am a dog lover and it was some place new and interesting, so I was happy to go too. We took the BTS to Ari station. Because we had time, we decided to take the slow, approximately 20-minute walk in to the place. It was hot, but we kept right on walking and finally reached the place, which I discovered to be called "True Love Cafe". For 350 baht per person, we got a free cake/ice cream and drink. We each ordered a main dish as it was brunch for us. We were first given a table inside, then moved to a table outside so that we could be closer to the area for the dogs to walk around freely. While eating the mediocre main dishes, we could see the dogs ro...
