Not for me...
What's not for me? Well... Clubbing, haha.
Last night, under pressure by Angie and Po Yew, I caved in and attended the Countdown to Halloween party organised by the Malaysian-Singaporean Society (MSS). People were supposed to be dressed up, but because I was so reluctant to go, Angie and Po Yew didn't force me to dress up in some kind of costume. Besides, I only decided to go at 5pm yesterday, the day of the party. In the end, I just threw on a dress, wore heels (because, apparently, girls should wear heels when clubbing, according to Tzen) and went into the great unknown.
This was my first time clubbing and... I have come to the conclusion that it's not for me. I can handle the drinking part (don't worry, I only downed one cup of an alcoholic mixture of redbull with something else, quite nice actually. AND the drink was from Yang, a Singaporean I hang out with, he doesn't take law though). But I can't take the dancing. It's not that I can't stand it... I just don't enjoy it.
I started the night a little bored, sitting on a couch in the "VIP area". We managed to get into this special area because Yang was the bouncer - a very nice and polite bouncer. So we sat around, drank some, took photos... I did most of my talking with Daniel, another Singaporean who's doing Accounting.
I developed a throbbing headache though, so the heavy beat of the dancing music made it even worse. I made the excuse of going to the toilet and, fortunately, didn't have to sit around alone because after I came out of the toilet, Angie and Po Yew came back up as they couldn't stand the heat downstairs (Oh, to explain, the pub is on the upper floor. The dancing place is on the lower floor). I ended the night at the club sitted back in the VIP area, stoning most of the time. Until Po Yew asked if I wanted to go home. I reached back at FB at 2am, slept at 3am. Woke up at 7am to prepare for a 9am lecture today.
I'm glad Tuesday is over.
Anyhow, photos of last night:

In other news...
- WE NOW HAVE CROISSANTS (how do i spell it... is this correct?) FOR BREAKFAST! Aside from the cereal, muesli, bread/toast, fruits and yoghurt offered daily.
- John and I have applied for football tickets to watch Manchester United play Derby in Old Trafford, the match taking place on 8 December! However, it's by balloting. So we'll only know if we got the tickets on 16 November. I just skyped with my parents, brother and Matthias (he was at my house doing a video for his school project) and when I told my dad that, he said something like, "So I should pray you'll get the tickets, not that you'll get an A for your exams?"
Ok, suddenly I've run out of things to say. I will blog more the next time I remember more stuff!
In the meantime, of course, I've got to get started on my tutorial readings and all other miscellaneous LAW-related activities or preparations.
