The weekend of 5th & 6th March

5th March: Dinner with 'the gang'
Because we had iWeek the night before, we didn't have cell group meeting on Saturday night, so we got to have dinner and hang out together!

After Youth Ablaze, we had dinner at Long House along Upper Thomson Road. We originally intended to have dinner at Fat Boy's, but it was SO crowded when we got there. So we just walked over to Long House.

For dessert, we went to Udders at the newly reopened Serangoon Gardens Mall. Here is a photo of Uncle KK and Eugene with this huge meringue James had bought from next door's store called Gastronomia:
6th March: Mario Kart Wii (grand prix) completed!
Today was quite a long day for us, especially Eugene. He was on worship duty, playing the guitar, so he was in church at 7:45am and played for both worship services. For me, I attended the 9am service because there was a meeting for Youth Leaders at 11:15am.

Then the two of us attended the Leaders' Meeting in proxy for Boon Yeow and Faith as they both flew to Bangkok over the weekend to celebrate their wedding anniversary. So that was 1:30-3pm.

When the activities in church finally ended, the two of us headed to my house and Eugene was so tired he actually took a half-hour nap. All energised (I think) after his nap, we played wii and we finally finished all the courses for the Grand Prix of Mario Kart Wii! Our goal is to get gold for ALL the courses. AND WE FINALLY DID IT! Well ok, Eugene did most of the driving. Can you see that in the box with my name on it (bottom left corner), there are MANY gold circles as compared to everybody else?:)Eugene with a "V" for "Victory!" sign (he can be quite obedient when I ask him to pose for photos, heh heh):Ok, here's a random photo we took to remember this fateful day where we attained the goal of getting gold for everything (and now do not know what to do next):
