Da Chang Jin - Jewel in the Palace
This Korean drama serial has been showing on SCV Channel 55. When I first heard about it from an ex-MG friend, I thought it would be rather boring because she forgot to inform me that there was a MALE hottie in the show who would play the love interest of the female lead in this show.

It came to a point where I really couldn't wait for SCV to slowly show all 70 episodes, so I spent money on BUYING the whole set for myself. I bought it from TS at $79 for all 3 parts of the drama serial.

I fast forward through many many MANY episodes and finally finished it TODAY. What an achievement right? :) I highly recommend people to watch the last 10 episodes of this show, especially if you just want to see more romantic scenes between the 2 leads.
This is the couple. They are really sweet to each other in the show. Although, one observation (SPOILER ALERT), they hug and hold hands more often in their courtship days than when after they get married. In fact, they seem even more polite and formal when they're husband and wife already. Isn't it a little weird?
Oh well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! May get a little draggy at times because it's such a looong drama serial, but if you have the vcd and the remote control in your hand, you can fast forward as much as you want. All the same, watch the last part of the 3-part VCD set if you're impatient and yet still want to watch the whole show.
