Back in Nottingham, Back at Blogging
So I'm back in Nottingham after approximately two and a half weeks that was spent mostly in Singapore, and a bit of it in Hong Kong with my family.
Tonight is my second night here in Nottingham, and Tzen just came over to my room in a desperate attempt to study, because studying in her room by herself was starting to get her all depressed. As for me, I'm just trying to type as quietly as possible to not disturb her. I thought I'd start studying tonight, since I'd gotten all my things unpacked in the evening before dinner. However, I still had to pin up stuff on my notice board and had to try out the printer I had brought to Nottingham from home after I returned to my room full from dinner (chinese takeout in Tzen's room with Tzen, Erica and Erica's boyfriend, Ryan). That took most of my night away. As a result, I decided that tonight I'm not going to be doing any work. Instead, I will reply emails, transfer photos onto the laptop from my camera, and blog. Something I need to start again since I'm back here in Nottingham.
Yesterday, I arrived in Florence Boot hall at about 3pm, if I'm not wrong. Got settled in then went to Sukho Thai in Beeston for dinner with Tzen and Erica. The whole day yesterday it was foggy and raining. The wind was blowing very strongly. And it was just miserable. Pure English weather. Yet, it was something familiar to me. Strangely familiar. I found it a little harder to come to Nottingham this time around as compared to my first time coming over here... In fact, at my first time, I was really looking forward to coming to Nottingham and could not wait to leave Singapore!
The farewell I received at the airport was a much smaller group though, as the Tung Ling people and 20-year-olds and other church people didn't come. This time round, it was just One-Third, and Wei Chuen. Besides my parents and brother. Despite the smaller group, I had a GREAT load of fun - which is something not surprising considering that I got to spend all of my "last moments" with One-Third, a crazy bunch when we meet up. I think I laughed till my stomach ached! Basically, as per normal, we completely embarrassed ourselves but we were too damn happy to care.
Well, I'm doing fine over here, so please don't worry about me. I'm going to sort out photos now and give you an entry about the things I did during my christmas break.
