Here

Firstly, I must apologize for this long leave of absence, but, I'm back to blogging!:)

Here in Nottingham, it is my third day living in Florence Boot Hall and I have experienced many "firsts"

First SEND-OFF AT THE AIRPORT:

Thank you so much, to everybody who came to send me off. You may have had homework and readings and all kinds of other important things to do, but you all still came. Thank you so very much. To One-Third, I kept you waiting for so long as I moved from group to group, I'm so sorry. And to Jien, who talked to me for a really long time after I went into the terminals and waited to board the plane, thanks so much.

First SIGHT OF DUBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

It's really such a busy airport! My parents and I didn't have time to hang around though, because we had to rush to the next gate to board our second plane that would take us to Birmingham.

First WEEK IN THE UK
I spent my first week with my cousin, Aileen, her husband, Richard and my nephew, Jack. As a family, they stay in Bromsgrove, Birmingham, about an hour's drive away from Nottingham. These angels God has brought into my life gave me and my parents a roof over our heads, helped us with the opening of my bank account, getting my new UK handphone line, and bringing us to places to do a little sightseeing. The places we went to: The Black Country Living Museum, Worcester Cathedral and...

First TRIP TO CADBURY WORLD

There, I discovered the heavenly Cadbury chocolate milk. And, on the right, is a photo of my nephew, Jack. I don't know how to turn it over though so, could you just turn your head and look? Thanks:)

First NIGHT IN MY HALL OF RESIDENCE
Some drunk person set off the fire alarm at 1:40am in the morning! At first I thought my alarm clock had gone a little crazy, but after switching it off, I realized that it wasn't my alarm clock that was the annoying one... So all of us trooped out into the cold. Many of us in our pyjamas or sleeping wear. But there still were a great many people all dressed up and awake, they were probably hanging out and drinking at the bar. Well, I got back to bed at 2am and slept through a big storm, only waking up at 7am, when my alarm clock rang, properly.

All right, I would love to say more but I need to walk to my Law School to meet my personal Law tutor. I'll continue with my "firsts" entry when I get back.
