3rd day of CNY

It was an enjoyable 3rd day for me because I had a fantastically delicious lunch at my uncle's house with the rest of my mum's side of the family. Oh gosh the food was fabulous.

I also had a fun time discussing Korean drama serials with my sister and 2 cousins who are much older than me. One of them studied to be a lawyer and actually got the full qualifications to become a lawyer when she gave it all up, deciding instead to become a scriptwriter. So now she watches Korean drama serials as part of research. Meanwhile, my other cousin, who is her sister, watches it as part of leisure, like my sister and I. A discovery I made today was that her husband watches the drama serials with her too! My sister and I were quite surprised because it is rare to come across guys who actually watch Korean drama serials. What more, he was accommodating enough to RE-WATCH certain drama serials with my cousin! Aiyo he's so nice lah.

During dessert, I was talking to another cousin who was sitting nearby while we were discussing these drama serials and she said, "I think all of you can give a lecture on Korean drama serials already". Yeah, I think we can... ;)

Then we travelled to Uncle Daniel's house, where I played with a toddler (who mistook me for his mother because the moment he woke up, he came to me and hugged my legs! You should have seen his face when he looked up at me and realized he was hugging the wrong person!), carried a baby who's barely 1 month old (So cute! He slept so peacefully!) and fawned over yet ANOTHER baby who was so smiley.

We left for home, while I headed to my form teacher's house. I thought everybody would be on time but I ended up standing at the condo entrance for 20 minutes! My form teacher then called me and told me to go up anyway, which I did, but I definitely felt quite awkward. Thank God for his adorable daughter. When she first came up to me, I asked what was her name and she replied, "Isabel, I-S-A-B-E-L". It was so automatic. I could only think of this reply, "Wow you sure have good spelling!" :)

Here's a photo of the 11 of us with my form teacher and his daughter. We took it just before I left for dinner with my family.

Shucks, it's back to school tomorrow... Bummer.
