CNY: Eve & Day 1
CNY Eve: 2 Feb, Wednesday
My very first CNY reunion dinner in 3 years was at uncle Edwin's house, with the Chua family. It was a potluck affair, with my family (or rather my maid Miming) contributing claypot chicken rice, which I think pretty much everybody loved!
Left: My dad and his older brother, uncle Stephen. Right: Dear aunty Pauline and my sister.

Left: My sister and I with Mama Chua (my dad's mum). Right: My parents with my sister and my favourite (and only) brother-in-law!

Then we left uncle Edwin's house and drove over to uncle Keng Boon's house for reunion dinner with the Tan family. As usual, by the time we got there, the main eating was over. My extended relatives were sitting around the living room, in front of the TV, watching the Chinese movie Red Cliff, which was airing on Channel 8.
And there was chocolate fondue for dessert! YUMMY YUMYUM.

CNY Day 1
My family and I were one of the earliest to arrive at uncle Edwin's house for brunch. The earliest was still uncle Stephen. And here's uncle Stephen showing off his iPhone 3D-photograph-taking application to uncle Edwin. They looked so cute wearing those 3D specs:D

With my sister and mother in our "Chinese New Year's garb":
All over uncle Edwin's house you can find old family portraits taken many years ago. See if you can spot me?:)
And, in order to get a nicer shot of this family portrait without any reflection, sun and/or shadow affecting the quality of this photo, my parents got newspapers to block the sun shining on this photo... They were quite an amusing sight to behold:
Then the eating began as more and more of the Chua family arrived!
Stephanie brought her cute dog:

And I got a few blur shots of my cute but scarily hyperactive nephew, David, while my cousin was trying to feed him some breakfast. I love his cute hairstyle:

Family photo! The one on the left was our first attempt. It wasn't very successful because a bit of my face was blocked. So we tried again, but in a different formation.

Left: A photo with my pretty sister, while I think I looked POSITIVELY sleepy:( Right: My siblings and I with Mama Chua.
