Surprising Mango Ice
Yesterday night, Joanne and I met for dessert at Hong Kong Cafe. We shared the mango ice dessert, and when it arrived, the two of us were pleasantly surprised by how big it was:

(I didn't bring my camera so we relied on my iPhone camera, which isn't fantastic...)
Besides it being so big that we couldn't finish it even though there were two of us, it was nice! The scoop of vanilla ice-cream was on the sweeter side, but everything else was to our liking. The "mountain" of ice was really one solid mountain of ice, not that it was hollow within. And the ice was mango-flavoured, not a case where the mango syrup was just poured over the top of the mountain of ice and inside it was plain...
I had a wonderful time catching up with Joanne over dessert. And on our way home we stopped by one of the 'pasar malam' (street market) stalls to do a bit of "aunty-shopping". I bought a bag and stickers!:)
