Random Thoughts
The weekend just flew past and I only realized it this morning when I was on the train with Tina, travelling to work together.
1) Talking about Tina...
Her last day of work is on Wednesday - day after tomorrow! Man, time has really flown past. Tina has worked at my dad's law firm for a little over 7 months already! I'm going to miss the morning train rides, the after-lunch bubbles teas and 7-11 ice-cream outings... Oh well. At least we still have our Saturday mornings of Macs breakfast!;)
2) 3 keyboards
I set a record in the worship ministry yesterday by handling 3 keyboards at the same time. At any one time, both my hands were being used while one of my legs was controlling one or two pedals simultaneously. At the first service, I felt breathless after the whole worship session was over, as if I was holding my breath throughout the whole session in fear that I may make a gigantic mistake/slip-up. The second service was much better and the flow was much smoother. I was rather satisfied with my performance at the second service;)
3) UK Visa
TODAY, I made a wasted trip to the Visa Application Centre at Robinson Road. I waited for about half an hour and when it came to my turn, the lady told me that I was missing vital documents and therefore she couldn't accept my application. I must go back another time with all the necessities. RARGH. I'm going back tomorrow morning before I report for work. What a bummer I tell you. I just can't wait to get my visa now, it'll be yet another thing settled. One task closer to leaving for Nottingham - YAY!:)
4) Madeleine
This is the title of a Korean movie I watched on Saturday night on the internet. It's a fantastic movie! I cried at one point because it was just heartwrenching to watch what the lead actress was going through. The lead actor was funny. A must-watch!!!
