Reunion with One Third
After a loooooooooooong time, One-Third managed to set a date to meet up, which was yesterday. Pity Eugene couldn't join us because he had to be at worship practice. Jien and Tina were too busy to join us too. BUT, Huang Yi joined us! It has been at least 2 years since I met Huang Yi "in the flesh" (since seeing her on photos on social media doesn't count).
We met at a place called Anthesis Cafe and Bakery. It's not the most convenient place to get to via public transport. Even with a car, it can be a bit tricky to find parking spaces. But I got there anyway after taking a train to Clarke Quay and having a riverside walk for about 15-20 minutes in the humid, hot and simply oppressive weather.
I had their (giant) pegasus meal and it was REALLY yummy, and, of course, way too much for me. But I loved everything about it, except the (raw) salad. But everybody helped me finish it and I was most satisfied!

It was a great pity that I had to leave the earliest, around 3:30pm, because I had to meet Toby and Jenson for bible study back home. Thank God I got a cab in no time and got home just in time... But anyway, I always enjoy the witty and hilarious conversations that One-Third has whenever we meet up. I'm so glad to be able to keep in touch with this group of friends in JC. They made my JC life so much more enjoyable. It's also interesting to grow up together as we have boyfriends and girlfriends slowly adding to the group, and we will soon have our first wedding (end of next year!).

Bella said we had to take a shot with the sign at the entrance of the cafe. So, that we did!
